Wouldn’t everything be better if everything was simple? Wouldn’t it be better if we didn’t have to earn the things we want…if we didn’t have to lose? Well...it’s natural. There needs to be balance in our society in order for it to work. Everything has its space, including plants and animals. There is even space for winter, like certain areas on this planet have certain weather, certain people, and certain plants.
As kids, we grow within our knowledge, we grow with experience, and we grow into someone that knows only what we know and what we feel. We’re comfortable with it because we’ve only been ourselves our whole lives. No one knows best about you, but you. But there is inspiration; there is a sense of direction. Not only do you discipline yourself, but others discipline you. We have natural behaviors; we already knew how to breathe as babies. Natural flaws define us.
People play with ideas, but they also have order. Sometimes its fun to start in the middle, to be creative is to have a big imagination.
There is life everywhere, even though no one really understands why life is life, at least we UNDERSTAND HOW TO LIVE IT. This world is full of spirit, belief, and strength. Life on earth is a gift, and that gift is fragile. Just enjoy life for life is a gift.

Just a drop in the ocean...
Have you ever gone fishing out in the middle of nowhere? I have. It is just gorgeous! It’s pretty amazing how the planet works out, how the seasons seems to be in line, and how there are sunsets and sunrise when it is time to get up. There is so much in the world to see, to appreciate, and critique. You may watch movies and go to school to learn about things, but you really have to experience something to really understand it.
What are we doing to the world? Why are we corrupting our land? We just don’t know, because I know I don’t. We just do what we do; we do our so called normal duties.
I guess we can say we take risks; we accomplish goals that don’t really need to be accomplished. People talk about how bad the world is becoming, but never really do anything about it. I’m sure there are groups, such like ours who at least TRY to do something. I give credit to those groups. They may be just a drop in the BIG ocean, but can be spread. There are so many possibilities, and they need to be used! We can lose, but we can also win. If can act at dominos and make an incredibly crooked line, but line them up close enough so that we can eventually make the last one fall-and actually make something happen.
No one thing is ideal, but we can look at it that way. We can look at things sideways, or even upside down. Imperfection can be beautiful, like the mountains-they are most definitely imperfect, yet so beautiful.

Rain doesn't last forever
We are always going to have our ups and downs. We have our sunshine; we have our clouds and storms. There are winners and losers, and the rich and poor. But why? Why do we have such majestic categories? If you really think about it, without that, we wouldn’t know anything about mixture. I know we keep talking about the same things over and over again; we just need to view things differently, and with different attitudes.
There is always going to be a mountain to climb. Nothing comes easy. Where would we be without direction, where would we go without discipline? You may think you’re at your worst, but there can always be even worse. What is the worst thing that can ever happen? Can death be the worst thing that can ever happen? I don’t think so.
What if your loved one got into an accident and became paralyzed and lost their memory, but still breathed and was alive as a living vegetable. Would it have been easier if they died without pain? Life is confusing. Life is just hard, life is just easy, life is life, and there is always going to be something going on. The life we live is normal, and we can’t really change that, but I know we can change HOW we live, like one step at a time. Everything has steps, and maybe our first step is just to inform the whole world, through popular media and whatnot. We just need to stick with the plan and use it wisely, the whole world needs to participate and cooperate…which I know won’t happen in a matter of days…but years. Even though that doesn’t work, at least we can say we tried.
It is just so sad to see what a wonderful gift goes down the drain and we don’t even realize it until it happens. Maybe it is happening for a reason, maybe it isn’t. Alcoholism
There are always two sides to everything. During our discussion about alcohol and alcoholic issues, I was so caught on one subject: Alcohol problems in villages. I really do believe that alcohol is more of a problem in villages because of the rural status. To be honest, it gets pretty boring in the village, so there is always something to look for, something to do. Some community members drink a lot, and some don’t at all. Some binge, and some are moderate drinkers. It’s hard to say so though, because the only drink is mostly hard liquor. There’s really no such thing as wine and beer, well…barely. One of my friends likes to drink, and for that reason, she’d do anything to bring some home with her. There’s a law for importing alcoholic beverages into dry villages. Well…she is almost a felon because of getting caught. Isn’t that crazy? Just for importing alcohol, and only that. Well, people make choices and people follow their choices and the consequences, and same goes with other issues, lots of issues.

"It" just appears to be this way...
“Settlement gave rise to division of labor. Division of labor gave rise to technology. With the rise of technology came trade and commerce. With trace and commerce came mathematics and literacy and science, and all the rest. The whole thing was under way at last, and the rest, as they say, is history.”
I’m thinking this is very true, but this didn’t just all of a sudden ‘appear to be’ this. It took courage and hard work to develop this ideal “civilized” picture of how OUR culture was made. As Ishmael said, “Very impressive, I’m sure you realize that the ‘big moment’ you’ve just described was in fact the birth of your culture.” This is virtually pretty impressive, if you think of it as bettering our world and our culture by adding onto it ten years at a time. Say I was building a house, and I didn’t have enough money to build a nice, two-story bedroom with a car garage. Obviously, I couldn’t do it in one year; but I had to start somewhere. So I would start off by building a cabin, work, earn the money and then start building my so called dream house. As the house is being built, I would keep working and earning more money to invest into that house, and sooner or later, the house would be built. Naturally, people take out loans and do other things to earn their money, but I’m just trying to make a point that it takes time and energy to create something that is meaningful.
It’s like we have to have a plan, a plan that actually works. We test things out, we work with pros and cons, weigh a solution to the problem(s), and then figure things out step by step. It doesn’t take a single day to learn a foreign language; it takes time and practice that we have to sacrifice and mold into a daily routine. What would we do without technology? Most say technology is one of the best things that every happened to the world. Is that really true? Or is that what we want to believe? I wonder what it would be like without technology.
The first thing that comes to mind is that technology is a HUGE part for why we live the way we live. I’m not going to say that we are living better than our ancestors did, because I’m pretty sure they thought they lived a pretty good life, considering how much they gained, learned and went through. I’m also pretty sure that the elders that are still alive think that the younger people are incredibly blessed to have what we have today. My grandfather tells me that my generation is fortunate because we grew up what they didn’t grow up with. We have cars, Hondas, skiffs, motors, television, and the internet. When he mentions that to me, I think…geez, we are lucky. We have everything! Maybe sometimes it is agreeable for our elders to say that, but maybe, just maybe, we aren’t as lucky as we think we are. The world might be, or is being corrupted and brain-washed by the people who created us, the people who passed their knowledge down to us. I’m not sure if this makes sense, but it seems to me like the world is taking tiny little steps towards corruption; the world is taking three steps forward and is slowly taking five steps back…it’s time we change that-it is time WE make history before it's too late.

Transculturalism
Established by interracial families, the world is becoming less pure culture-wise. Blending cultures results in a mixture of cultures and ethnicity. The children are able to identify themselves into separate culture groups. In the end, there is a high possibility that there will be no more racial categories as a result of transculturalism. Cultural purity is disappearing due to these kinds of establishments. The transculture foundations are becoming so real that it cannot be stopped. It has already taken its toll and is occurring so steadily, but at an enormous rate. In reality, the world is always changing, and is becoming a new transformed society. We are like a pot of soup: different ingredients and spices. We are being cooked together. What would the world be like if there weren’t any variety? Reality is a part of our world, and taking advantage of the changes is one of the basics to surviving in this world. The changes are being displayed through worldwide media. And it sells, big time. It is simply the truth. So if we all want to change that, we might need guidance, maybe someone like the gorilla;)

There is no way out.
We all know that we play a particular part in life and we all learn new ways of doing it. It is our lifestyle, it is a norm. There is constant change in everyone and everything. No matter where someone is, there is always progress, fluctuating both negatively and positively. There is always movement: loudly, silently, quickly, slowly, weirdly, and not weirdly. There are facts, and truths, and rumors. There is birth, death, marriage, and so on and so forth.
People work for what they want and try, in their own unique ways, to accomplish their goals. It’s like, what am I doing here? I’m just here because I was born into this circle, this circle of life, where almost everyone is the same, but oddly not. And we push for things to “make” people believe that they are proud of us just because we did something good. What is good? What is bad? Why are these so different from each other? Why do people do what they do?
People learn what is right and wrong because there are these rules that we tend to follow because our ancestors did. It is simply common sense. We do it because we know that it is something that we should “carry on” because it has been a tradition for a long, long time. It’s just normal. To be honest, it is getting old, hearing the story over and over again. What are we going to do about it?
People come and go, and we meet more people, become friends and then grow apart. I’ve always heard that everything happens for a reason. Does that mean corruption is happening for a reason? Who knows, we can just wait and see, I guess. Or do something about it, together, because we all know that working together can actually make ‘it’ happen. We must be here for a reason, because we don't drift away from ourselves. We are always us, as long as we are alive. No one really knows if there is a hell or a heaven, there is just belief that there might be another world after living on earth, or that is what I've been told. But if we work together, there can be great accomplishment. Gorilla and man; two is better than one, especially two different visions.

Unfortunate Questions
What does saving the world mean? Who can save the world? At first, I thought, isn’t the world becoming a better place already? No. Civilization doesn’t build itself. What else can ‘we’ do to better ‘our’ environment? We fight for our rights, and we fight for our lives, but what good does that do in the end?
As human beings, we work for a living. That is just how we grew. It is normal for people to progress into a schedule; a schedule to work, eat, and rest, socialize, learn, and find a job for a living. It is our nature, it is our culture and we depend on it. Most of the time, it isn’t as simple as it sounds.
How can the gorilla help us? Who does the gorilla impersonate? Who has the guidance to a better world, and how can we continue to live the way we live if the world is gradually wearing itself out?
As I was reading the book I thought to myself, I was wondering where all these different questions kept popping into my head. Apparently, the questions don’t and will not stop. Is it up to us to figure this problem out? While the world is putting itself into this situation, losing isn’t an option if we want the world to continue its greatness. Yes, there are conflicts and hardships, but that is normal. The way human beings behave rubs off to the next generation and it progresses as time goes by. It’s like a copy machine, but with people, plants, and animals. Living things in this world are replicating themselves into a new century through modern media. We learn something new every day. We then follow a ritual, but we don’t know why. We just do it, because we were taught to do that exact practice while observing others in our environment. Almost all the members of all human races have identical resources. Almost everyone go through the same life: birth, illness, work, old age, and then we ultimately die.
We are the foundation, and we are the only ones who can help the world transform into a better place. Gorilla and man together make a great team; they just need to get along, work hard, and hope for a change. In between those lines, there will be tremendous adversity, but eventually, there will be change; whether or not that team initiates a correlation towards the better or for the worse. If we really want to save the world, we just have to be super hardcore about it.
